Dear Wee F-List,

I have returned from my two month backpacking expedition into yonder Europe, completely exhausted and already in the midst of a 40 hour work week for the remainder of the summer.  When I'm not sleeping and/or running around after young children at work, I will be going back through my f-list to peruse all the wonderful posts and fics that I have missed.  Also, I will be returning to TR, and reading all those backlogged posts.

So if you happen to receive any comments on two-month-old posts, that is why.  Feel free to ignore them if you so choose.

Alright.  That is all.

Love Kate

ps - I've missed you, f-list. <333333

It is Luz!Week, after all.

Alright, my wee flist.

I don't do very many blurb posts (because my RL is very boring and i'm not witty enough to make it interesting, and my fannish squeeing is usually inflicted enough on others through comments) but these two things made my life together in the past hour, and I was filled with so much love for them that I needed to share.

FACT OF LIFE # 1: Jimmy Fallon is a big dork.

I still kinda adore him. Watching his new late night show is so very awkward, since he's all nervous and sometimes fails. But my perseverence and wincing abilities paid off, because he told a Band of Brothers story during it. Look, look! There is Tom Hanks name-dropping and epic jeep-driving failing.

[Skip ahead in his interview with Emily Blunt until 7:45. It's bad youtube quality, but i'm Canadian and so am not allowed to watch it on NBC's shiny high-def website.]

Oh, Jimmy Fallon. You are a terrible actor. I still love you. I accept you. Also, later in the show, when he tried to stop smiling (a complete inability for him), he swiped his hand over his face and said "Band of Brothers!" as if by just saying that he could be all serious.

FACT OF LIFE # 2: Watchmen is the rad.

http://io9.com/5167732/easter-eggs-and-missing-parts-in-watchmens-titles [really lame link because i am the lazy and late for picking up my friend to go grocery shopping]

The opening sequence was actually the best thing ever. And although i've watched it about five times (yeah, I love youtube.) turns out there's so much I missed! So, look at these supercoo fun facts and whatnot and don't be a noob like me! :)

Summary:  Babe wonders, regrets and hopes.
Author's Note:  Commas were copiously abused in the writing of this fic.  Be warned.  Also, this is the smutiest thing I've ever written.  Seriously.  *hides*

Babe wondered what Gene was like before the war. )

Okay, so I have this addiction.

It's writing Band of Brothers fics.

It's actually gotten seriously bad.  Posting more than once a week?  With another fic written and just needing another proofread?  Ugh.

I've been posting in various fandoms since 2003, and never (ever) have I been this prolific.  Like, seriously.  It's ridiculous.

Evidently, BoB is my crack.

I'm kind of scared.

And yet strangely okay with it.

Title:  This is Not One of Those Times, 2/2

Author:  Kate_Everson
Rating:  PG

Pairing:  Arthur/Merlin
Spoilers:  References episodes 4, 10 and 11 of season one, with general info from throughout.

Disclaimers: Characters, setting and premise all do not belong to me at all.
Summary:
From the Anonymous Kink Meme prompt 137 In which magic and misconceptions run amok, and everybody is surprised at the result (except mostly they’re not).

Author’s Note:  I really, really wanted to title it “UNDERCOVER IN A GAY BAR,” except that only those who read the original prompt first would understand why and I feared chaos would reign in the mass confusion of those who didn’t.  So the title is a response to the Gloria Naylor quote.  I liked the first one better.
